Chrysoula Dioli, Ph.D.
Chrysoula is a neuroscientist with dual doctoral degrees from Sorbonne University (France) and the University of Minho (Portugal). Her research focuses on the development of novel treatments for neurodegenerative and mental disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and depression. She has extensive experience in preclinical models, molecular and cell biology, and data analysis. She is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Biosciences and Applications, NCSR ‘Demokritos’.

Engaged in the search for novel pharmaceutical compounds targeting neurodegenerative disorders such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer’s Disease. My research focuses on cell-based studies, including cell viability assays and imaging, as well as molecular analysis and flow cytometry.
